Linn County Democrats attendence and participation at the District and State Conventions garnered slightly more than our fair share of National Delegates to the Convention in Denver this August. National Delegates elected included the following Linn County Democrats:

Catherine Crist, Sandra Galer, Michelle Ray-Michalec, Peggy Whitworth, and PLEO Ro Foege.
Linn County also elected Alternates Ebony Luensman and Allyson Story and is home to one Super Delegate, our own Congressman Dave Loebsack.

Linn County contains about 8% of all Democrat Votes in Iowa, but the list above represents 11% of Elected National Delegates and 25% of Elected Alternates. Dave Loebsack is one of 12 Super Delegates.
